Whether for teaching or influencing key stakeholders this workshoip is designed to help people new to presentating to groups of people or folk who want to brush up their skills. This half day workshop (or full day course) covers preparation and structure of presentations, use of support tools such as PowerPoint, public speaking hints and tips and advice on controlling nerves.

 

The full day workshop includes the opportuntity for delegates to create and present their own presentations with feedback, putting into action the learning from the first part of the day.

Effective business writing

Business writing is persuasive writing and this workshop is designed to improve the ability of writers to make the most of the opportunitiy to influence their readers.

 

At the most basic level, business writer seeks to convince the reader that what is being said is true and most business writing will try to persuade the reader to take an action or think about something a certain way.

 

This workshop covers four basic tenants of effective business writing;

 

The importance of knowing your reader

The importance of knowing the purpose of writing something

The importance of writing it right

The importance of reading before distributing.
